Tom Cruise Is An Idiot

So, I normally wouldn't bother with drivel such as this, but I have to comment on this article in which renowned astronomer (*cough* *cough*) Tom Cruise declares that aliens exist.

When asked if he believed if they exist, he replied, "Yes, of course. Are you really so arrogant as to believe we are alone in this universe? Millions of stars, and we're supposed to be the only living creatures? No, there are many things out there, we just don't know."

So let me get this straight. We don't know. But he can say definitively that they exist. Wow, scientology must provide the brain with some awesome powers of omniscience. I need to get me some of that. And people suggesting we could be alone are arrogant?

Please, someone give me the 5 minutes I wasted reading that article and commenting on it back...

Hey, Mike, I'm on your side. Kelly Preston is ranting and raving but where's Travolta? and who the hell is Catherine Bell? I'm a 41 yr old woman who has never had children nor needed to take meds for depression, etc. But there for the grace of God. How dare this idiotic little man sit back under the umbrella of a pseudo-religion pointing uneducated fingers at others. It horrifies me to think that North America has become so enthralled with "celebrity" that we'd actually follow his lead. When it comes to health and survival, are you really going to listen to Tom Cruise??
By the way, a number of years ago before post-partum depression was recognized, a friend of mine strapped her baby son onto her chest and leaped off a 6-story building. Too bad she didn't go to the gym more, or up her vitamins as Cruise has suggested. I just can't help but believe she needed far more than the temporary bandages he suggests.
Brooke Shields is a beautiful and caring Mother who needed help in a desperate time. She has my utmost respect and has handled this unnecessary scathing like a lady. Cruise on the other hand, remains an idiot.

It is funny that all I had to do to find this forum was type "Tom Cruise is an idiot" in my browser. Normally I wouldn't even bother caring what such an inane human believe spouts off about, but his "celebrity" affects alot of people. When he can give birth and stay up night after night with raging hormones and a crying baby, then maybe he should have an "opinion" on the matter.

I just had a feeling that i wanted to express, "Tom Cruise is an idiot.", I am so glad to know that i am not the only one. I happen to be an adult that has been diagnosed with ADHD. I have been in extensive therapy, and med management.Done the bloodwork and MRIs.
Ultrasounds and hormone level evals.
I have been on ADHD meds for over three years now, and my life has NEVER been better!
I do not abuse my meds as i know at the proper dosage of 10 mg. once daily, the difference is describing the difference in a cloudy and overcast day, and a almost clear sky. I can see the blue, that is coherancy, and fluidity in my day.
I can think in sequence, that is so precious to someone who has found it finally.
My comment is, "How can he be so against something that he does not understand?"

I too find it amusing that typing in 'Tom Cruise is an idiot' generates a hit. I can't think of one co worker, family member, or even a general comment from a customer, that doesn't confirm a similiar sentiment. I was disgusted to hear him described last night on tv as a 'mega movie star', and 'the greatest movie star out there today'..... who gives a crap, the man is pretentious privelaged zealot, and I wouldn't pay a nickel to see MI3...Tom Cruise is an idiot, and an embarassment to truly famous and talented people anywhere.

Funny how Tom cruise is always cast as the hero.

Dresses as the hero.

Accepts the hero status in Scientology: salutes and acts like a soldier hero here to save the world from Xemu and psychiatrists

Yep. That's what you are Tom. You are the hero of the 3rd millenium.

You believe it in your bones, hence you do not ever act - you just project who you really think you are - the hero.

What a sad world we live in that such a shallow person can be held in such high esteem by so many.

Oh, did i say shallow? Maybe i should have mentioned your personality disorder - and that one of the reasons you gravitated to Co$ is that they too fear and run from anyone who might diagnose fundamentally flawed character.

idiot? the word fails by far to convey the reality

mad-man might be more appropriate

or criminally insane maybe

:-)

Tom Cruise is an idiot. Not only that, but he seems to believe his own B.S. I guess somebody has to... Tom Cruise is an idiot. Not stupid. He speaks almost eloquently and nearly convincingly (adverb salad!) about things of which he knows NOTHING, almost like an actor reciting lines... It is a pity and quite dangerous that he has access to platforms like the Today Show, Oprah, Letterman, etc. If even a small portion of these audiences buy what he says the results could be devastating. Tom Cruise is an idiot. I like the sound of that. I wonder if, on... say Facebook, we can get a million people to agree that - Tom Cruise is an idiot.
